DROITWICH Spa CC will be aiming to bounce back in style from last Saturday's demoralising defeat when they take on Pershore this Saturday in the Worcestershire League Division One.
Spa slumped to their worst defeat in 20 years at the hands of Brockhampton last weekend but the team will be hoping for a better result at Pershore - a side Droitwich has enjoyed a good record over in recent years.
Player Adrian Field said: "Pershore are going to be a tough side. They lost their first game of the season on Saturday and will want to put that right.
"But we'll be desperate to get some points ourselves after the defeat to Brockhampton. The defeat hit us hard and I'm hoping for a much better reaction on Saturday."
The only absence for Droitwich in Saturday's all-important match is Field, who misses the game because of family commitments.
