EVESHAM Ladies Hockey Club celebrated winning promotion at the Worcestershire HA's annual general meeting when they were presented with the league trophy and an award for boasting the best defensive record in the league - they conceded just seven goals in 21 matches.
Vanessa Dufty also received her top scorer's award, while club secretary Peter Dodgson collected a special award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to county hockey especially the development of junior hockey.
