WYRE Forest Cycle Racing Club continued their dominance of the Midlands time trial scene when Dave Barnes produced an awesome display of power to take victory in the Veteran Time Trial Association 10-miler on Saturday.

Barnes stormed around the course at Weston, near Telford, to finish in a time of 21 minutes 20 seconds for his first open event win of the season.
