BEWDLEY ROUND TABLE - The two May meetings were as varied as ever. The first was a casino evening. Tablers were invited to buy chips (at nominal amounts) and then try to win as much as they could in two hours. The games played were blackjack, roulette and poker. The rules were a combination of true casino rules and Bewdley home rules, the winner being, as always, the banker.
The second meeting was the annual vehicle treasure hunt. The teams managed to find their way around the back roads of Heightington, Bewdley and Stourport while answering clues and completing challenges. The music quiz on a CD for the car added an extra element to this year's event.
