Brockencote WI - At the May meeting at Chaddesley Corbett village hall, the AGM resolutions were discussed after being presented by Mrs R Pardoe and MrsJ Miller.
The afternoon continued with an "American tea" and a game of indoor curling. All members participated in both activities and it was unanimously agreed that the afternoon had been most enjoyable.
Forthcoming events include the June outing to Gloucester Docks to include a boat trip, on June 21, leaving Chaddesley at 9.30am. Announcements were made about a town walk around Alcester, and a trip to the Tate Gallery in London.
The next meeting at Chaddesley Corbett village hall will be held on July 19 at 2pm the subject being "Life in the Middle East." Visitors are welcome.
