A KIDDERMINSTER couple pleaded guilty at Worcester Crown Court to the theft of cash from an elderly woman who has since died.
Lisa Dean was employed by an agency to care for Mrs Barbara Wormington, who was suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
Dean, 25, of Hawfinch Rise, Kidderminster, admitted seven counts of theft involving £2,650.
Her husband, Simon Dean, 36, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to six thefts involving £300. The couple also admitted seven joint thefts totalling £500.
Recorder Jonathon Gosling said pleas to other dishonesty had been entered at a previous court and the total figure was in the region of £7,000.
He remanded the pair on bail for a pre-sentence report. One of the bail conditions was that Mrs Dean is not to act as a carer.
