SEVEN intrepid walkers at an Evesham accountancy firm are readying themselves for a trek for charity tomorrow.
Staff at Allchurch Bailey, on the High Street, will be taking on 31 miles of hiking across the county countryside while raising money for St Richard's Hospice as part of the Worcestershire Way.
The team is made up of five women and two men, who will all be leaving Bewdley at 6am tomorrow morning, following the countryside trail along the western edge of Worcestershire to the Malvern Hills.
One of the participants is Carol Horseman who said: "We are all praying that it will be a pleasant day but the forecast is that it could be extremely hot, which is bad news for us."
The Worcestershire Way takes place on rolling terrain and is known as a dawn to dusk walk so could involve more than 12 hours of walking and participants can take in many sights including the woodlands of the Wyre Forest.
