BADSEY SOCIETY: Maureen Spinks, co-ordinator of the Badsey Enclosure Map project, has announced that the framed copy of the 200-year-old village map now had a permanent home in St James' Church. Society members, Richard Phillips, Will Dallimore and John Dallimore, under the supervision of churchwarden Chris Smith, fixed the large map to the south wall of the church, together with a descriptive plaque. The society's two-year project has enabled villagers to discover the development of Badsey and Aldington since the parish was enclosed at the turn of the 19th century.
