A KIDDERMINSTER woman has been named the top manager of a defence, police and prisons support service.
Dianah Sweeney, regional operations manager for ESS Support Service worldwide, was presented with the accolade in a ceremony at RAF Cranwell.
Mrs Sweeney is responsible for overseeing the management of support services including cleaning and catering at 11 army sites including the company's flagship contract at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Surrey.
The 34-year-old, who has worked in a number of senior event management roles for high-profile events such as the Henley regatta and the Volvo PGA Championship, has since been promoted to private finance initiative key account executive.
She said: "I love what I do because it's so varied, I'm never bored."
