A WORCESTER punk band's World Cup song has gone on sale in HMV this week.
Blind Granny's Taxi Nightmare - whose name comes from a Worcester News headline - are hoping there will be so many sales of Hi Ho Come On England they will rocket to the top of the chart.
The CD single, which costs £4.99, is sung to the tune of Jeff Beck's 1970s classic Hi Ho Silver Lining.
The money from the sales will go towards the charity Fourth Lion which pays for sporting equipment for underprivileged children.
Andy Probyn, lead singer in the band, said he and his fellow bandmates were over the moon that their song was available in HMV.
"My mum has already been down to get her copy," he said.
"No we just want everyone in Worcester to get behind us, go and buy it and get us to number one!"
