PARENTS can find out how to avoid some of the most common childhood accidents at a Redditch Town Hall event.
SureStart Redditch is inviting residents along to its "Avoid the worst. Put child safety first" event on Monday from 10am-2pm.
Admission is free and along with stalls from SureStart, the fire service, local health visitors and the road safety department, there will be face painting, storytelling and crafts for tots.
Event organiser Donna Smyth said: "Many common childhood accidents could be easily be prevented. We want to help parents and carers be aware of ways to keep their children safe, especially with the summer holidays coming up."
