Brockencote WI held its May meeting at Chaddesley Corbett village hall. The subject of the meeting was the discussion of the resolutions as set nationally for the consideration of all WIs.
The resolutions were presented by Mrs R Pardoe and Mrs J Miller. Members voted in agreement with both presentations on renewable energy and sport for a healthy population.
The afternoon continued with an American tea and a game of indoor curling.
Forthcoming events include the outing on June 21 to Gloucester docks to include a boat trip, which leaves Chaddesley at 9.30am. Announcements were made about a town walk around Alcester and a trip to the Tate Gallery in London. A social skittles evening will also be held in September.
