Members were reminded of The Malvern Hills Walk on Thursday, June 22, and the Alcester town walk on July 27 and August 10.

Members were invited to join the coach party to Tate Britain to see Constables Great Landscapes on August 13.

Frankly WI had invited two members to its 60th anniversary celebrations.

Volunteers were requested to take charge of the cakes, scones, pastries and preserves stall at Catshill fun day this Saturday and for items to sell. Mary Davies reported on the Weatheroak meeting, which described the background of the county set up.

The main part of the meeting was taken up with discussing two resolutions. Renewable energy was carried unanimously and sport for a healthy population was also carried unanimously.

A brisk and entertaining auction was conducted by Mary Davies in aid of the blind. The items for sale raised approximately £31.70.
