A DARK thread runs through experimental dance company Stan Won't Dance's new performance, Sinner, which is on at Malvern Theatres on June 15 and 16.

The show mixes modern dance and terrorism in an explosive mix of choreography, design and video.

Sinner centres around the reign of terror of Soho bomber David Copeland, who detonated a nail bomb in pub the Admiral Duncan in 1999.

After a brief encounter by two men in the pub the play turns into a psychological thriller when two actors become a single man struggling with his alter ego moments before the bomb goes off.

Stan Won't Dance was set up in 2003 by Ellie Beedham, Liam Steel and Rob Tannion who all met in 1999.

The trio's was to set up a new company which developed their own creative ideas that pushed the established boundaries of dance and physical theatre and which incorporated text and music in the creative process.

Sinner features Liam Steele and dancer Ben Wright, who created the role of the Prince in Matthew Bourne's globally acclaimed production of 'Swan Lake'.

The show is on at the Forum Theatre, Malvern and tickets are £10 and £12 (under 25's £8). To book tickets call the box office on 01684 892277, log onto or www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
