LAST week the Advertiser printed a letter from M Gregory with regard to parking in the town's High Street.
You waste your time complaining about this. You phone the police and they say it is the council; if you phone the council, they say it is the police; and if you complain to the councillors, they do nothing ether.
It is about time Mr Joe Ling, who is being paid to improve the High Street, did his job and stopped the parking in the street and got the traffic wardens or the police down there on a Saturday and issued a few tickets. I am sure this would stop it.
The other thing they could do, like most towns, is to put a street market there that would stop the parking and bring life to the street as there is not much else in it to look at.
