BARNT Green all rounder Roger Sillence produced his best display for Worcestershire in the ten wicket victory over Somerset in the Liverpool Victoria County Cricket Championship last week.
Sillence took an impressive 7-96 to hand Worcestershire the advantage at Taunton.
Worcestershire had made 618, with Sillence hitting 20 runs, but the all rounder came into his own with the ball.
Sillence, who was a key player in Barnt Green's title winning season in 2005, swept through Somerset's batting order and even dismissed former England pace ace Andy Caddick for seven runs, as the team collapsed to 346 all out. Sillence didn't take any more wickets as Somerset were bowled out for 313 in the follow up.
Worcestershire needed just 42 to win and Jacques (15 not out) and Moore (27 not out), steered the Pears to one of the team's biggest wins of the season.
