CAPTAIN Nick Davies believes his out of sorts Bromsgrove CC side can use their home game against high-flying Stratford this Saturday as a springboard to success.
The Boars have been struggling for form in recent weeks away at Harborne and Walmley but the captain is pinning his hopes on the team's good form at Bromsgrove's St Godwalds ground.
He said: "Our home form is excellent on Saturdays this season and I'm hoping that we can really use that to kick-start the season.
"Stratford are an excellent side and are playing well but we back ourselves at home."
The captain will be hoping that the batting line-up finds some form after a barren few weeks.
Bromsgrove's batting order has failed to make an impact at grounds which are traditionally high scoring.
Davies said: "We have a good line up on paper and the batting's been good in the practice nets, so there's not an obvious problem. We just need to get more runs on the board."
Davies has a full strength team to call on for Saturday's game at home to Stratford (1pm start).
