A FIFTEEN year old boy of Red Lion Street, Redditch, was charged with stealing a loaf of bread of the value of two pence.
Police Constable Bonnell said he saw defendant come from one of the ladies baker's carts, which was standing in an open shed.
He had the loaf in his hand and put it under his jacket, and ran off.
Witness followed him to his home and found the loaf of bread on the table.
Defendant said he was not guilty of stealing the loaf. He was dealt with under the First Offenders Act.
