RECORDS were sent tumbling on a beautiful evening at Dumbleton last week after some blistering batting.
Simon Slabbert (130no) and Matthew Cull (59no) scored a massive 209 runs in 20 overs against Hatherley and Redd-ings B.
Slabbert's century is thou-ght to be the first by a Dumb-leton player in a junior fixture and their opening stand was also the largest recorded for the club in a junior game.
Dumbleton's bowlers then did a fine job in restricting Hatherley to just 106 with Chintu Prakash the pick of the bunch as the winners progressed to the semi-final of the Under-15 Cup.
