YOUNGSTERS from Redditch SC produced some fine displays in the annual ASA Midland Region Championships in Coventry.
And leading the way was Dan Ruckwood, who trains with the City of Birmingham Club and who became Midlands Champion in the 200m backstroke.
Ruckwood also took the 13 years age group title in the 200m freestyle and set new personal bests in the 400m & 200m Individual medley and the 100m fly and free.
In the 11 years age group there were fine swims for Michaela Britt in the 100m and 200m breast while Elizabeth Humphreys recovered from tonsillitis to record personal best times in the 200m free and 100m back.
In the 12 years age group, Danielle Harwood set personal bests in 200m & 400m Individual medley and 1500m & 200m free. Lucy Knibbs swam in the 200m & 400m IM and the 100m & 200m breast.
