SIMON Hollands faces a selection headache this weekend when his Exhall & Wixford cricket side gear up for a 'must win' weekend.

The reigning Cotswold Hills Premier Division champions take on title riivals Bretforton for a crunch league clash on Saturday knowing that a win could see Exhall back at the top of the table.

And 24 hours later, Hollands will lead his side out for the regional final of the National Village Knockout Cup, north Warwickshire side Ansley the opponents.

"Although we are at full strength this weekend, some of the players will be struggling to play in both," the skipper admitted. "Bretforton have played a game more than ourselves so we need to win that while we want to go as far as we can in the Village Knockout."

Hollands knows a little about Sunday's cup visitors as he played against Ansley in a midweek league game a few seasons ago.

Victory over Ansley could see Exhall line up against near neighbours Astwood Bank in a mouth-watering tie that would surely be the match of the round.

But the Worcestershire League Division One side must first overcome fellow league side Chaddesley Corbett on Sunday.

The cup games start at 2.30pm.
