A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of a Kidderminster father-of-one after an incident outside a town pub.
Gavin Tilling, from Kidderminster, appeared before Kidderminster magistrates on Tuesday charged with killing Martin Yarranton.
Mr Yarranton, 44, of Broom Crescent, Comberton, died on Sunday morning at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
He was found collapsed in the road outside the Wren's Nest pub in Stourport Road at around 9.15pm on Saturday.
Police are continuing their investigations and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Mr Tilling was remanded in custody by the town's magistrates and will next appear at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday.
Det Insp Pete Round said: "Our thoughts are with Mr Yarranton's family and friends at this time.
"However our investigations are continuing and we would appeal for any witnesses to the incident that have not yet spoken to police to come forward."
