A 19th century cap belonging to a former Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire is one of the items on display in a new exhibition at Bewdley Museum.
It is called Hats Off and features a variety of headwear, including tops hats, school caps and babies' bonnets.
The black admiral's cap-style hat, which belonged to the Lord Lieutenant, is the oldest in the collection, dating to 1892.
The exhibition, which is one of three at the museum, includes information about the history of the capping industry in Bewdley.
Oil paintings from the museum's own collection are on display in the second showcase - From Brush to Canvas - until the end of August.
One is of Wyre Forest sisters, Jane and Caroline Badland, and was painted by Cyril Lavenstein in 1956.
At the time, the women were aged 104 and 100 respectively and Caroline was the organist at Kidderminster's New Meeting Church, while Jane was a Sunday school teacher.
The third exhibition is to be presented by the Friends of Bewdley Museum in the Quayle Gallery and runs from Monday until August 16. It features the work of ceramist, Simon Hancox.
