SAMBA music and dancing led by percussionists Nick and Karen Ledbury ended an arts week with a bang at Red Hill Primary School, Worcester.
During the week, Key Stage 1 children worked with artist Marie-Therese King to make two large batik banners based on an aboriginal story The Rainbow Snake, while Years Five and Six tried their hand at Chinese calligraphy and ceramics with artists Bing Wang and Yan and Leyla Fowell.
Head teacher Jane Long said: "The annual event gives the children a chance to enjoy an enhanced curriculum and benefit from the expertise of visiting professional artists. It's thanks to the generosity of the parents and friends of the school who help to raise money for the event."
