MEMBERS of the Bewdley branch of the Royal British Legion are to hold a memorial service to commemorate the 20,000 British soldiers killed during the First World War.
The service is at All Saints Church, Wribbenhall on Sunday, July 2. Bewdley's Mayor, councillor Louise Edginton, will join the RBL branch for the wreath laying.
The branch has a new meetings venue, the Black Boy Hotel, Wribbenhall, at 7.30pm on the third Monday of each month. More information is available from chairman, Colin Evans, on 01299 402702.
