KIDDERMINSTER Fire Station is throwing open its doors to the public on Saturday to help raise cash for a national firefighters' charity.
Wyre Forest residents have been invited to visit the Castle Road site to find out more about the vital service it provides.
The event, which runs between noon and 4pm, will feature demonstrations by firefighters, sword fighting displays and stalls selling a variety of goods.
All money gathered will be handed to the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund, which provides a range of services for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.
The station's new state-of-the-art fire engine, which has been in use for a month, will also be on view, with demonstrations of how it works.
Becky Whittall, community safety adviser, said: "Everyone at Kidderminster Fire Station really enjoys welcoming the community because we feel we are big part of it.
"We love people being able to see the different operations and things that we do and it is a great way for people to learn more about us and vice versa."
