THE buses of yesteryear have been meticulously recreated by a man who used to work on them.
Arthur Mansell, of Hallow, crafted four vintage buses which used to carry the people of the county between 1933 and 1952.
Mr Mansell, who was employed by Midland Red in Worcester as a sheet-metal worker making bus bodies before his retirement, used old photographs before drawing the vintage carriages and then carefully crafting plastic card to build the models.
The 68-year-old, who lives in Parkfield Lane, said: "Each bus took about 72 hours. It was a lot of work, but I am pleased with the way they have turned out."
For many years Mr Mansell has enjoyed model making.
He has a model train station in his loft and it includes a replica of the now defunct Knightwick Station, which was on the Bromyard line.
