KEEN composters are sought to volunteer for a county council Master Composters programme.
The scheme takes on composters who attend events and promote home composting.
So far, 19 composters have signed up to the scheme and a further eight are required.
They will be given full training in home composting and related environmental issues.
The county council's project development officer for composting, Viktoria Salisbury, said: "The volunteers we currently have working for us are an enthusiastic and motivated bunch and are doing a fantastic job in promoting home composting.
"Becoming a composter is a great way to meet new people, learn valuable skills and benefit from being part of a team that makes a difference."
