FOOTBALL fever will arrive at NEW College on the eve of the World Cup quarter finals.
A-Level students from across the county will descend on the Peakman Street campus on Friday to look at the psychology behind the sport.
The mind of the hooligan, footballers' wives and facial recognition will be explored by 120 students at the NEWPET psychology in football conference.
As well as NEW College's own students, the event will be attended by sixth formers from King Charles I School, Baxter College, Stourport High School and Haybridge High School.
Head of Sixth Form Paul Morrey said: "The aim of the event is to heighten the profile of this very popular A-Level and to allow students across the NEWPET partnership to interact and exchange views.
"It is also to find out more about careers in psychology."
Psychology in Football takes place from 9.30am-2.30pm.
