YOU'RE not alone Paul Byrne (Your View June 14). He is not the only one being ignored by Bromsgrove District Council/Bromsgrove District Housing Trust.
We have been e-mailing both the environmental health department and senior housing officer and have become quite accustomed to not receiving replies.
We then tried the old fashioned 'pen to paper' and wrote to Mike Brown, the chief executive of the BDHT. He also did not see fit to reply.
During a recent face to face meeting with the head of environmental health we were informed that the e-mailing system at Bromsgrove Council does not always work! It seems that e-mails appear to be going into an 'abyss'.
We suggest Mr Byrne sends his council tax Llte (as we did) and you will soon hear from the council.
We just wanted Mr Byrne to know that he is not alone in being totally ignored by the council and BDHT. Join the club!
