CHADDESLEY Corbett grabbed a crucial victory over Alvechurch and Hopwood in the Worcestershire County Cricket League on Saturday.
Victory propelled Corbett into mid-table of Division One and sent Alvechurch tumbling to the bottom half of the table.
Corbett made 184 all out and Ian Chambers took four wickets as Alvechurch were dismissed for 81.
In Division Two Belbroughton were no match for leaders Stourbridge as they went down by ten wickets. The Tons were bowled out for 83 and their opponents made 87-0 in reply.
Cutnall Green lost to Oldswinford in the Division Three North by 174 runs. Swinford made 285-7 and Green were bowled out for 111. Himbleton thrashed Hanley Castle and Upton by 179 runs in the Division Three South. Dan Oliver hit 75 as Himbleton recorded 326-6, before Hanley Caste were bowled out for 147.
