THE Stillwater Shield series continued last weekend on the Worcester Canal at Blackpole.
Stu Thomson won the match weighing in 7.10.0. Pegged next to the winner was Tim Hunt in second place with 4.15.0 and in third place again on the next peg was Graham Mytton (3.5.0).
The Evening Open match recorded good weights again at the Fishery.
Fishing from a 'Golden Peg', Gary Seadon weighed in 31.5.0 (peg 18) to edge out Thomson (31.0.0) on peg 17. In third was Tim Hunt (18.14.0).
Tuesday Evening Opens continue with the draw at 5.30pm and fishing between 6 and 9pm. All are welcome.
It's the first Avon Shield match of the season at Common Road on Sunday when the draw takes place at 7am. All members are welcome, check the website for more details.
