A TRIO of Redditch golfers will try again this weekend after they tied at the Green Lane club's championship.
There was nothing between Russ Ager, Steve Fanning and Steve Hadley after 36 holes and they will tackle another 18 holes on Sunday to decide the winner of the gross score competition.
The winners in the net competition were Eugene Doneghan (Division One -- 143), Vernon Harris (Division Two -- 145) and Brian Stone (Division Three -- 149). Away from the club championships, the best performance came from the club's gentlemen who beat Kidderminster 5 - in a friendly while the men drew their West Midland League match at home to Halesowen 2-2.
The ladies lost their friendly at The Warwickshire 3 - while the seniors lost against both Worcester and Droitwich.
