ROD Brown is set to talk to striker Nathan Lamey tomorrow (Thursday) about a possible deal to bring him to Bromsgrove Rovers FC.

The journeyman striker, who has played for Halesowen Town, Hednesford, Moor Green and Hinckley, contacted the Rovers boss about the possibility of joining the Greens for next season.

The Rovers manager admitted that the signing of Lamey, who got into double figures for Halesowen last season, would depend of a number of factors.

Brown said: "Nathan contacted me so this is a chance to see what he's got. It's also down to money as I've only got so much to spend on players.

"I'll know by the time training starts on Saturday if he'll be a part of the squad."

Work at the Victoria Ground to increase the size of the home changing rooms and add a new fitness room has started.
