WOMEN'S INSTITUTE - At the June meeting, president Carol Handy asked members to remember Lorna Wilcox, a staunch institute member and singer, who had recently died.
The village carnival is on Saturday and institute members are providing refreshments.
Mary Cartwright had received maximum marks for her carrot cake at the spring rally at Bewdley.
The speaker was Suzanne Kirby, who told members about house swapping. She had been to several continents and made many friends.The meeting on July 10 will be an American picnic in Carol's garden.
