CYCLING CLUB - There are two rides this Sunday. The A ride starts at 9am and goes to Bury Ditches near Clun. The C ride starts at 9.30am and is a half day ride to Ray's Farm at Chorley. Both rides leave from The Green, Blakebrook, opposite Kidderminster Hospital. All cyclists will be welcome and should bring a packed lunch for the A ride.

KIDDERMINSTER AND DISTRICT SCOTTISH SOCIETY - Tony MacKenzie-Farmer was re-elected as president. The society is open to everyone and Scottish ancestry is not required.

All are welcome to attend the St Andrew's Night Dinner at The Granary Hotel on November 30 and the Burns Night dinner/dance at the Ramada Heath Hotel, Bewdley, on January 27, 2007. Anyone interested should contact the president on 01562 69022.

HABBERLEY WI -- Members travelled to Hatton Village for shopping and refreshments. Sue Stone organised the outing. There are several forthcoming events including a trip to Royal Windsor, tea at Areley Kings and a Queen Elizabeth I event at Hartlebury Castle later this month. Diaries and calendars should now be ordered.

Next month will be the summer supper. Contact Sue Norwood for details. Members are required for catering and the evening will start earlier at 7pm at St John's Church Hall, Habberley. The guest speaker is Richard Westcott on the subject of 'Confessions of a Pantomime Dame'. The evening starts at 7pm.

MINSTER LADIES - A strawberry tea is arranged for Wednesday, July 5 at 2pm at St George's Annexe, Radford Avenue, Kidderminster.

There will also be a sales table for books, CDs and tapes.

CIVIC SOCIETY - What is the Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark? is the topic of a meeting on Tuesday at 7.30pm in Kidderminster Library. Dr Cheryl Jones, director of the Geopark, will talk about this area covering 1,250 square kilometres of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Worcestershire. Non members are welcome.
