WRIBBENHALL WI - Vice president Mrs Nita Crutch welcomed a guest from Australia. She thanked those who had made exhibits for the Home Economics Rally, obtaining two third places.
Numbers were taken for a group visit to the Houses of Parliament on October 31. A Christmas lunch has been booked at Spring Grove House. She regretted that Mr D Harbage was unable to give his talk on the Donkey Sanctuary but that, at short notice, Ms Paula Holloway had agreed to talk on hypnotherapy, aromatherapy and reflexology. She guided members through relaxation techniques and in pairs taught members to give each other neck and shoulder massage.
On July 10, at Shaw Hedge Road Community Centre, Mrs Phyllis Benedikz will give an illustrated talk on the story of hallmarking.
