I WOULD like to say how inconsiderate were the organisers of a "gig" in Wolverley Lane on Saturday.
Starting at around 9pm and ending at midnight, it was the loudest I have ever heard.
I'm certainly no killjoy, as I have teenage grandchildren, and those who attended it must have thought it was "cosmic" but the owners of the property could have shown some consideration by giving some prior warning.
It was not 100 yards away from residents in sheltered accommodation and the noise was horrendous.
One of the songs was Tom Jones' Delilah, and even though she may have "stood there laughing", we residents certainly did not. And like the ending of the song, "we just couldn't take anymore."
There was no trouble from those who attended it, but it would have shown some thought to have forewarned surrounding residents.
