I WAS so pleased when Kidderminster was redeveloped with Weavers Wharf and Crossley Retail Park and thought about all the new job opportunities.
I have recently found myself unemployed through no fault of my own, and I am disgusted at how many Kidderminster employers will not write back to you when you send a letter and your CV.
Even when a job is advertised they don't even have the common courtesy to reply to a letter.
Out of 30-plus jobs that I have applied for, only two companies have written back - The Ramada Hotel at Bewdley and Lloyds TSB at Kidderminster.
So to those people who replied to me, I thank you for taking the time to do this, and doing your job properly. As for the others who didn't reply, I just hope you are never in my position.
You work for multi-million pound companies and could at least afford 32p for a stamp when people have taken an interest in your company in the first place and the time and trouble to write to you for a job.
I have lived in Kidderminster all of my life, and I have very little faith in the town any more.
