KIDDERMINSTER karate instructor Paul Acton's strict training schedule paid off when he returned home from a major tournament with two medals.
Acton gained silver in the senior kata and bronze in kumite at the KSA World Karate Championships in Finland.
He trained five times a week in the run-up to the tournament dedicated his success to his Great Britain team-mates.
Acton can add the world silver and bronze to the two European golds he won last year.
"It is such a great achievement to represent our country in such a large world tournament and it is great to win awards for the team," he said.
To celebrate his success, Acton is offering two free lessons to anyone interested in taking up karate.
