A CHELSEA Flower Show winner will be sharing her tips about growing and cooking herbs at Bewdley Museum on Saturday.

Kim Hurst will give a talk titled "A Taste of Herbs", which is an introduction to the different varieties and will run from 11am until noon at the Load Street attraction.

It will be followed by a second lecture from 2pm until 3pm, which will teach visitors about using and cooking herbs from the kitchen garden.

Mrs Hurst runs the Cottage Herbery with her husband, Rob, in Boraston, near Tenbury Wells, where all their produce is grown organically in peat-free compost.

They won a gold medal at this year's Chelsea show for their display, which included sage and purple parsley.

There is a small fee for the lectures and places need to be booked in advance. For further information, contact the museum on 01299 403573 or log on to http://bewdleymuseum.tripod.
