CULTURE vultures have been treated to a feast of entertainment since Kidderminster Arts Festival kicked off on Monday.

This year's event, which has a recurring nature theme and runs until Saturday, August 5, has, so far, provided performances by young dancers and classical musicians, storytelling and family theatre.

There are plenty of activities for all ages still to come, including a performance by The Hoodwink Theatre, who will present Gastronomic.

The tale of two waiters who try to serve dinner while faced with many problems will be staged outside the town hall today at 11am and 2pm.

Tomorrow, youngsters will be able to enjoy an early ears music session at the Corn Exchange between 11.30am and12.30pm.

On Saturday, the Museum on the Move will be outside the town hall, between 10.30am and 4pm, and willow weaver, Paul Simmons, will be demonstrating his work from 10am until 4pm outside De Bradelei Mills.

There will also be footstomping workshops given by Drum Love in the Corn Exchange between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, as well as 2pm and 3pm.

Crafty children can get creative at a Do-Day session in the town hall music room on Monday, between 10am and 3pm.

On Tuesday, The Insect Circus Museum, including beetles, ladybirds and snails, will be in the town hall, between 11am and 4pm, and film lovers can see Before Sunset, directed by Richard Linklater, in the library at 7pm.

Recycling bus, Mission Impossible, will be teaching people more about being environmentally friendly outside the town hall from 10am and 3pm on Wednesday.

There will also be a performance of One Two Zebra Zoo for two to five-year-olds by the Blue Sky Puppet Theatre at the Corn Exchange, from 11am until 12.30pm.
