SIR - Many elderly and disabled people struggle at this time of the year in getting rid of garden waste. In the Arboretum, for many residents, getting to a recycling centre is very difficult - they don't like you going on the bus with three bags of rotting vegetation.
A constant request is for kerbside recycling of green waste, even if it was an allowance of so many green bags a year.
Without this option to recycle what is the easiest of our waste products to recycle, many are finding it difficult to manitain their gardens as they would like.
So in the next year can we have greenwaste recycling and recycling centres kept open during the summer so those who have that option can use them?
