TOWNSWOMENS GUILD - In July, in a change to the advertised programme, Sue Longhurst gave a talk and presentation about patchwork and quilting, bringing with her many examples of her work. Sue had stepped in at short notice.
The acting chairman gave a report on the national council meeting held in Harrogate in June, when mandates about grandparents' rights and pensions for carers were both carried.
The next meeting will be a celebration party with poetry readings at Wribbenhall Community Centre on Tuesday at 7.30pm. For more information, telephone 01299 401235.
