A HANBURY man has taken over the helm at North Worcestershire Rotary Club.
Former president Brian Hall handed over to his successor Milton Bowers.
Milton, married to Greta, is a retired headmaster and moved to Hanbury from Scarborough after taking early retirement in 2002. He has been an active member of the club since joining and served as president in his previous club in Scarborough.
The charities he has chosen for his year in office are Cancer Research, the Wheelchair Foundation, the Edwards Trust and other local groups.
During his presidential year Brian Hall oversaw a series of fundraising events, enabling over £4,500 to be handed over to local, national and international charities. Brian hands over to the new president who looks forward to taking up the challenge of helping with local community projects and continuing the international links forged over the past years.
