SURPRISES are in store if you go down to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses on Wednesday, August 30.
On that day, from 12noon to 3pm the gardens will be host to a Teddy Bears Picnic.
The event will include live music from the George Salter School - including steel bands, asian drums and rock bands; hoopla, a teddy bears' hospital, a children's entertainer, name of the bear competition, face painting, frog beanbag throwing, bouncy castle and visitors can also visit the new style children's adventure playground. But most important of all - visitors should bring their bear.
The gardens are in Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham. Entry is free for all Teddy Bears - and their owners - if under five.
