WORCESTER Warriors will assess the fitness of Marcel Garvey and Simon Whatling before deciding on their line-up for Saturday's friendly at Cardiff Blues.
Winger Garvey picked up a calf injury late in Warriors' 35-15 victory against Viadana in the Sixways club's opening pre-season friendly last Friday.
Whatling, a second-half re-placement, has a hamstring strain.
"It's too early to say whether they'll be involved against Cardiff," said director of rug-by John Brain. "Both are improving, but we don't know yet whether they'll improve enough for the weekend."
