RELEGATION threatened Ombersley took a big step towards safety in the Birmingham and District League Division Three by defeating high-flying St Georges.
Victory made sure that Green leap-frogged Redditch to go third from bottom in the table. Duncan Catterall took two wickets as St Georges were restricted to 270-6. Catterall then made sure of victory when his 92 not out guided Ombersley to 271.
