JAZZ fans can enjoy a whole weekend of entertainment at the Malvern Theatres as part of its Jazzamatazz event.

The weekend opens on Friday with vocalist Elkie Brooks, who teams up with trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton and The Humphrey Lyttelton Band.

Humphrey Lyttelton started his band more than 50 years ago and since 1948 has been at the forefront of British Jazz.

Still touring regularly, he is well known as the chairman of BBC panel game I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.

Tickets for Humph 'n' Elkie cost £16-22.

Saturday night will see the Syd Lawrence Orchestra take to the stage.

The orchestra has been thrilling audiences with concerts and dances for more than 35 years, touring all over Great Britain and throughout Europe.

They return to Malvern with a brand new show including a mixture of swing music, dance music and jazz, together with fun, laughter, excitement and comedy. Tickets are priced £14 and £16.

The final concert of the weekend is The Cotton Club Revue on Sunday.

The show brings the sights, sounds, dances and entertainment of the world famous Cotton Club.

It features the Jiving Lindy Hoppers, who will guarantee to get audiences toe-tapping with their performances of the Jitterbug, Charleston and other novelty dances of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Tickets are £14 and £16.
