TWO big names from the pop charts of yesteryear will be in Worcester later this month.
Singer Vince Hill, instantly recognised as one of Britain's best known and most successful chart stars, will be on stage at the Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, August 24./
He has enjoyed several American tours, including sell-out concerts with the Florida Symphony Orchestra.
The night before it will be the turn of The Spencer Davis Group to make the hall's rafters rattle.
The group, originally created in 1963, had close to a dozen top ten hits including Gimme Some Lovin' and Somebody Help Me, and has been reformed several times.
Their concert begins at 8pm, while Vince Hills is an afternoon performance starting at 2.30pm.
